 Important Information Once the application and passport have been submitted to the embassy the passport is unavailable until the process is complete. In an emergency only the passport can be temporarily withdrawn however the process will be cancelled and the applicant will have to apply again

Passport Must be valid  for nine months beyond entry and have at least two blank pages
Photographs

Two passport sized colour photograph - be on a white background and taken within the last 6 months

Scanned and printed photographs will not be accepted. Key Travel recommends using a photo booth
Proof of Financial means

Evidence of available funds

  • First page of the applicants bank statement issued within the last 3 months - showing minimum credit of £50.00 per day

Exceptions for non-UK passport holders

EEC citizens are required to present proof of there UK residence with one of the following

  • Tenancy agreement
  • Council Tax
  • Water Bill
  • Full UK Driving License

Non-British citizens are required to prove their legal status in UK with one of the following

  • British Work visa
  • Student visa
  • Residence visa

Business letter

A letter from the applicants UK Employer.

  • On company headed paper
  • Include the full name of applicant
  • include the name of the organisation to be visited.
  • specify the visa request
  • Include who is financially responsible for applicant.
  • Signed by someone other than applicant i.e. company director, HR department.
Invitation letter

A letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting

  • Be on company headed paper
  • Be in Portuguese
  • Include the name of the applicant
  • State purpose of journey
  • Specify the requested number of entries
  • Include applicants passport details
  • Be emailed in PDF format to the embassy by the host from Angola prior to visa submission at consulado@angola.org.uk
 
  • All NGO and humanitarian organisations need an authorization from the Unidade Tecnica de Coordenacao da Ajuda Humanitaria (U.T.C.A.H). This should be faxed to the Embassy and a copy should be included with the application.
